Triangle-shaped Paratha


Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of maida flour
  • 1 cup of atta flour
  • 1 cup of soya bean oil
  • ¼ tsp of salt

Procedure:

  1. Take a wide mixing bowl, add maida flour, atta flour, salt, 3 tbsp of soya bean oil and mix them properly.
  2. Pour water little by little as needed to make a soft and non-sticky dough.
  3. Knead the dough lightly and divide it into 8 to 10 balls.
  4. Dip a ball in maida flour and dust-off excess flour from it.
  5. Place the ball on a rolling area and flatten it slightly with fingers.
  6. Now using a rolling pin begin to roll each ball to a round layer or roti of 10 inches.
  7. Now spread some maida flour over the roti and fold it to make a half circle.
  8. Again spread some maida flour and repeat the folding process to a triangle shape.
  9. Now again roll evenly to a make a triangle paratha.
  10. Take a non-stick, dry tawa, heat the tawa for sometime and place a paratha and fry one side of the paratha for sometime and then turn the other for the same time.
  11. When you have heated both sides of the paratha evenly, add 1 tbsp of oil to the pan and fry both sides of the paratha until you see that it had fried properly and its color has changed.
  12. Now put the parathas in a hotpot for sometime and then eat them cause they will become soft after sometime of cooling down.
